MIDEL & MIVOLT FluidsRichard New was appointed as Managing Director at MIDEL & MIVOLT Fluids Ltd on 1st Jan 2024 following Shell’s acquisition of MIDEL and MIVOLT business from previous owner &I Materials. With a near 20-year career at Shell, Richard has led the business through its integration journey and has a genuine passion for the energy transition and technology. Previously, Richard led Shell’s Global Key Accounts organisation for fleet and E-mobility customers and has held a number of operational and commercial roles in Shell Downstream. He has lived in Europe, South Africa and Canada, holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick Business School and resides in Cheshire, UK (very close to MIDEL’s production facility in Manchester!) with wis wife Vicky and their four children.
