Sruti Chakraborty is a chemical engineer with a PhD in transformer moisture dynamics from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (India) in 2017. She found her motivation in the field of transformer monitoring and diagnostics as a working student at Crompton Greaves Ltd (Mumbai) in 2011. At the time, her research was focused on ageing character of transformer dielectric insulation. After her doctoral studies she supported Seetalabs SRL as a co-founder, consultant, and subject matter expert for AI-driven transformer health indexing solution. Since February 2024, she is a part of the product management team in OMICRON electronics and is responsible for sweep frequency response analysis.
