Transformers Magazine invites all interested parties to take part in our Special Edition publication focusing on Digitalization.
Our readers have spoken! The results of our survey showed that most of you were interested in the topic regrading Digitalization, therefore we have decided to move our Special Edition in that direction.
Transformers Magazine invites all interested parties to take part in our Special Edition publication focusing on Digitalization.
Digitalization offers huge opportunities for optimization of the whole energy system making it more compact, efficient, smarter, faster, and user friendly by putting the intelligence into the products. The success of digitalization, however, depends on the associated complexity.
Design of intelligent and more connecting/connectable products should help reduce the complexity and help experts cope better with challenges such as: digital twins, Big Data, Internet of Energy, etc. Such solutions are already used in practice. However, disruption is expected in the generation of knowledge and behaviour of the products, alongside the grid based on historical substation data.
We hope that this special edition will shed a new light on the disruption in the technology field that is expected to change the world. Topics that would be of interest in this edition include, but are not limited to, the following:

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
We invite authors to submit original, previously unpublished material. Authors can express intent to submit a paper, or submit their full-length manuscripts following our regular submission procedure by 15 May 2020.
Manuscripts must be prepared according to the submission guidelines outlined in the Author Centre of the Transformers Magazine Publish with us webpage.
All submitted manuscripts of technical articles will undergo an anonymous peer review. Thus, invitation to submit a manuscript does not guarantee inclusion in the special edition.
The editors look forward to receiving paper proposals and manuscripts.
