Afghanistan, Kabul: The $1.17 billion CASA-1000 power transmission project will be inaugurated by the officials from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan next month, after the competent ministries from the four countries finalized the document and decision on the implementation of the project.
EIB will finance substation projects in Tajikistan
Tajikistan, Dushanbe: The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted €70 million loan to Tajikistan to fund the construction of a 500 kV power transmission project, which will interconnect electricity networks of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
