Russia: A subsidiary of Rosseti, IDGC of Center and Volga Region continues construction and reconstruction of substations and overhead power lines in the Central and Volga federal districts of the country as part of the investment programme.
In preparation for the World Cup in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the company is completing construction of the Strelka substation and starting construction of another 110 kV substation where two power transformers will be installed with total capacity of 126 MVA.
In the Vladimir region, the company is reconstructing an eponymous substation as well as constructing Vorsha substation, reports Rus Cable.
In the Kaluga region, Kolosovo substation is under construction with total transformer capacity of 126 MVA. By the end of 2014, new power transformer will be put into operation.
In total, the investment programme for the construction and reconstruction of substations of different voltage class will be $208 million.
