Ighram to benefit from five new transformer stations

Algeria, Ighram: An extension of the electricity grid, including the installation of transformer substations, is in progress in the commune of Ighram.
“We have benefited from five transformer stations, some of which are completed while others are under construction.” said we Mr Ibaliden, the mayor of Ighram.
One of the residents of Irsen said: “We have suffered so much from the lack of electricity in our homes. We had to resort to makeshift connections from neighbouring houses.”
The mayor of Ighram vowed to assign locations for other transformers, reports La Depeche de Kabylie.
