Final stages of $16.7M power project in Bolivia to get underway
Bolivia, Chuquisaca: Bolivian Energy Directorate has announced the construction of 115 kV transmission line Sucre-Padilla is entering final stages, with 75% of the project completed.

Bolivia, Chuquisaca: Bolivian Energy Directorate has announced that the construction of 115 kV transmission line Sucre-Padilla is entering final stages, with 75% of the project completed.
As part of the project, a 25 MVA power transformer will be installed at the Padilla substation along with three 24.9 kV feeders, which will increase energy supply in the area and enable future electrification of new rural communities, reports Correo del Sur.
The project is funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with $15 million and a $1.7 million investment by the Government of Chuquisaca.
The works implemented by the National Electricity Company (ENDE) are scheduled to be completed in June 2015.
