Eaton to supply power equipment for $1B MGM National Harbor project

USA, Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh-based power management company Eaton will supply critical power distribution equipment and engineering services for the MGM National Harbor, a 93,000-square metre destination resort on the Potomac River in Prince George’s County, Maryland, the company announced in the press release.

 


USA, Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh-based power management company Eaton will supply critical power distribution equipment and engineering services for the MGM National Harbor project, a 93,000-square metre destination resort built on the Potomac River in Prince George’s County, Maryland, the company announced in the press release.

As part of the contract, Eaton is responsible for setting up the resort’s central power plant and will provide all electrical equipment, which also includes dry-type transformers, medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, switchboards, panel boards and power monitoring software.

The approximately $1 billion dollar project is expected to be completed in 2016.
