Police detained two people for stealing an electric transformer in Sant Mateu

Two people from Burriana and Castellón, Spain, have been arrested yesterday for alleged transformer theft. Apparently, the Sant Mateu Police received a notice informing them that two people were stealing an electrical transformer with the intention to transport it to a ship.

Two people from Burriana and Castellón, Spain, have been arrested yesterday for alleged transformer theft. Apparently, the Sant Mateu Police received a notice informing them that two people were stealing an electrical transformer with the intention to transport it to a ship.

The policemen immediately went to the scene conducting a comprehensive investigation which revealed that parts of the transformer had been stacked neatly awaiting transport.

O.C.B., 30 and A.B., 23, both Romanians, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and will appear in Vinaròs Court Number 3.
