EBY invests $ 95 million to increase power supply to Posadas, Garupá and Candelaria

Argentina: Entidad Binacional Yacyretá (EBY) conducted works in order to enhance the availability of electrical power in Posadas, Garupá and Candelaria. The investment has been estimated at $ 95 million.
The aim was to double the power available in these three locations. EBY acquired and installed four 132/33 13.2 transformers and seven 33/13.2 transformers in Itaembé Miní, reports Noticias Del 6.
The EBY Supplementary Works Deputy, Juan Danhiel, said:”This station is important because with the upgrade, the electrical power supply to the entire western area bordering Mártires is enhanced.”
