Power transformers to be replaced at Almazovo substation

Russia, Balashikha: JSC Moscow United Electric Grid will reconstruct the Almazovo substation to meet the growing consumer demand for electricity and improve the overall reliability of power supply area.
The company will replace two 25 MVA power transformers for new 63 MVA ones as well as outdoor switchgear and obsolete circuit breakers, reports Energy Land.
According to the director of the JSC MOESK branch, Andrey Vologin, enhancement of the substation Almazovo will improve connection of new subscribers and increase the safety and reliability of all the entire station.
