New power transformers to be installed at Kolosovo substation

Russia, Kaluga Oblast: IDGC of Center and Volga Region (Rossetti) started construction of 110 kV Kolosovo substation.
In addition to the substation transformer of 126 MVA capacity, another transformer is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2014, reports Metal Info.
This project will improve the reliability of electricity supply the northern part of the Kaluga region, create additional capacity to meet the growing demand of the existing consumers and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
All work, including set up of foundations for power transformers, is carried out according to the schedule. Completion of construction is scheduled for the autumn 2015.
