Nearly 7,000 FirstEnergy customers in Cuyahoga County are dealing with power outages, of whom roughly 5,000 reside in Mayfield Heights and nearly 2,000 in Mayfield. I-271 westbound lanes were closed, although they have since opened, but some delays might still be experienced.
Although no injuries have been reported, the residents are advised to avoid the area.
