UK: Solar and storage platform Elgin has purchased Amberside Energy (Development) Ltd. from Amberside Energy which includes a pipeline of over 1 GW of solar and battery assets. The compnany has acquired 100% of the share capital of Amberside Energy.

This acquisition has synergies that could accelerate the delivery of renewable energy assets in the UK, providing reliable and affordable power at a competitive cost and decarbonising energy production.

Ronan Kilduff, chief executive of Elgin, commented: “This is a great strategic acquisition to grow our pipeline across the UK.”
