A 3 MW solar power plant, valued at approximately 900 billion rials ($1.8 million), is set to be built in northern Tehran.

Iran, Tehran: A 3 MW solar power plant, valued at approximately 900 billion rials ($1.8 million), is set to be built in northern Tehran, according to the head of Tehran Regional Electricity Company. Farhad Shabihi announced the start of construction for 120 MW of renewable energy projects, each with a capacity of 3 MW or less, across Tehran Province, as reported by IRIB. He added that construction started on the plant, which will be integrated into the national power grid.
