Iraq, Baghdad: Iraq is aiming to build its first wind farm with a generation capacity of 500 MW within a post-war drive to rehabilitate its electricity network and tackle a supply shortage. The National Investment Commission (NIC) has completed the feasibility study for the wind power project, according to its spokesperson Hanan Jassim, who didn’t disclose more details.
