KEPCO and Burns & McDonnell to cooperate on grid projects
KEPCO has signed a cooperation agreement for the joint promotion of the 765 kV transmission network construction project with Burns & McDonnell.

USA, Kansas City: Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), the South Korean state-run utility company, has signed a cooperation agreement for the joint promotion of the 765 kV transmission network construction project and related new business ventures with Burns & McDonnell. The companies plan to collaborate and enter the 765 kV transmission network project in the US, which has been scaled down since the 1970s but is now being resumed, leveraging Burns & McDonnell’s extensive construction experience and KEPCO’s excellent technical capabilities. The companies’ plan is to form a task force to jointly work on proposals and contract negotiations for upcoming transmission network construction projects in the country.
