L&T wins domestic and overseas orders
The Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business vertical of Larsen & Toubro Ltd has secured new orders in India and the Middle East.

India: The Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business vertical of Larsen & Toubro Ltd has secured new orders in India and the Middle East. L&T announced that its PT&D division has won an order to implement advanced distribution management system (ADMS) in West Bengal. This technology makes power distribution smarter by combining Outage Management System (OMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS) functionalities.
In Saudi Arabia, the company has secured an order for a key 380 kV substation which will facilitate evacuation of solar generation. It has also won a 400 kV substation order at a major city project in Kuwait.
In Dubai, PT&D has bagged orders for establishing a set of EHV substations, including a 400/132 kV substation. The aggregate value of the orders is between INR 2500 to 5000 crore ($291.8–583.5 million).
