PGCIL starts commercial operations on Sikar project
PGCIL has announced that its TBCB subsidiary Powergrid Sikar Transmission Ltd has received notification for commercial operation.

India: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) has announced that its TBCB subsidiary Powergrid Sikar Transmission Ltd has received notification for commercial operation. The company said that the notification for commercial operation for its TBCB project was received on January 22, 2025, which becomes the date of commercial operations (DOCO) for the project. The project was fully commissioned earlier, on December 19, 2024. PGCIL was the selected developer under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) for this interstate transmission system (ISTS) project.
