Poland: On April 3, 2025, R&S Group celebrated the grand opening of its new distribution transformer plant in Krzeczów, Poland. This 10,000 m2 facility will play a key role in the company’s strategic growth, providing advanced transformer solutions for markets in the Baltics, Nordics, and Germany.
The event was attended by over 200 participants, including customers, suppliers, local government officials, and press. The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting and a tour of the plant, which is designed to produce over 1,000 units in 2025.
The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure efficient production of high-quality transformers. Additionally, its environmentally friendly design reflects R&S Group’s commitment to sustainability, with solar panels installed on the roof.
Markus Laesser, Group CEO, highlighted the importance of the project, which began in 2022 and navigated challenges such as global supply chain disruptions. “This new plant represents our dedication to innovation and meeting industry demands,” he said.
The new facility is a vital step in R&S Group’s long-term growth strategy, enhancing its ability to serve new markets and strengthen partnerships with customers and suppliers.
