India, Gujarat: Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has received a letter of intent (LoI) for a 500 MW solar project in Gujarat worth around INR 12 billion ($141 million). The company will be in charge of the design, engineering, and procurement (excluding PV module supply) as well as the construction of the 500 MW (AC) solar plant. It will provide three years of comprehensive operation and maintenance support.

Amit Jain, global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, expressed his satisfaction with the trust of clients in the company’s role in supporting growth in the country’s renewable market.
