Russia, Volgograd: Residents of the Russian city of Volgograd heard an explosion and saw a fire breaking out at an electric substation. This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Astra and the city news site v1.ru.
Reports state that it was the Sovetskaya substation caught fire. The Voroshilovsky district of the city was left without electricity as lights went out in homes, and traffic lights and streetlamps were switched off. There is no information about the cause of the explosion.
