From LinkedIn forum discussions to a global publication, Transformers Magazine marks 11 years of bringing knowledge and innovation to the industry!

Today marks the 11th anniversary of Transformers Magazine, a milestone that reflects the magazine’s journey from a humble idea sparked by discussions in the LinkedIn Transformers Forum to a widely respected publication in the global transformer industry.
The forum, where professionals from over 130 countries engage in 24 / 7 discussions about transformers, provided the foundation for the creation of the magazine. These conversations cover a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from transformer design, operation, and maintenance, to smart grid technologies, failure analysis, and education. It quickly became clear that the valuable knowledge shared in the forum needed to be preserved and made accessible beyond the digital realm, leading to the creation of the magazine.
A dedicated group of community members, despite their busy professional lives, worked tirelessly to bring the idea to life. Over the years, Transformers Magazine has grown significantly, with 56 issues published, over 680 articles, and 370 contributing authors. The magazine also has 98,000 social media followers, 20,000 subscribers, and 12,000 newsletter recipients. In addition, Transformers Academy has attracted over 2,000 students and hosted more than 250 lectures, further advancing education within the industry.
As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing our mission of knowledge sharing, education, and innovation in the transformer industry. The success of the magazine is a testament to the passion and commitment of the global transformer community!
