Urges to restore power supply in Budgam
Chairman Peoples Democratic Front Hakeem Yaseen has urged the Power Development Department to restore the damaged power transformers and transmission lines.

Jammu and Kashmir, Budgam: Chairman Peoples Democratic Front Hakeem Yaseen has urged the Power Development Department to restore all the damaged power transformers and transmission lines in the affected areas with urgency.
Most of the rural areas in Budgam district were facing hardships due to disruption in power supply.
“Since most of the transformer workshops were closed due to the coronavirus lockdown, a large number of damaged transformers could not be repaired and restored to thier respective places. Therefore, a number of village habitations in Budgam district continues to face non availability of power supply,” Hakeem Yaseen has said in a statement issued on 21 April.
He said there are some villages where transmission lines have fallen from last few months which need to be repaired immediately so as to restore power supply in the affected areas.
