    This lesson provides an overview of cast resin and dry type distribution transformers, which use no liquid for insulation or cooling unlike traditional oil-filled units. Hosted by transformer expert Mario Salano, the session focuses on the key characteristics and design considerations of the two main dry transformer technologies - cast resin dry transformers (CRT) and vacuum pressure impregnated (VPI) transformers.
