Peter Schikarski
HaefelyPeter Schikarski is the quintessential company man; he has been with Haefely throughout his entire career. He started out as a project engineer dealing with HV harmonic filters for substations, after being awarded a master’s degree in High Voltage Engineering from RWTH Aachen Uni in Germany. In 2000, Peter worked as Business Unit Manager for Tettex in Zurich. The Tettex product line is known worldwide for high-precision measuring devices designed for the transformer industry. After Tettex and Haefely factories merged into one facility in Basel, he undertook the position of Sales and Marketing Manager of the Haefely and Tettex product lines. In 2019, he was appointed Managing Director of Haefely AG. Today Haefely AG is part of the Swiss Pfiffner Group with worldwide factories mainly for manufacturing of instrument transformers.
Peter has travelled the world, and being a key contact for major accounts, has become a highly recognized name in the transformer testing and measurement field.
